Enquiries and jobs
Add a job yourself
Updated
Not every enquiry arrives by email. When someone rings or catches you on a job, add the work yourself.
Steps
- Open Jobs and tap New job. (You can also start from a customer's page — the job is linked to them automatically.)
- Pick a Source — Manual, Email, Phone, Website or WhatsApp. It's just a record of where the work came from.
- Write a Summary of what the customer needs. A sentence is enough; you can edit it later.
- Add the Customer name and Customer email if you have them. Both are optional here — but see the note below.
- Tap Add job.
You land straight on the new job's page, at the New stage.
Why the customer email matters
If you type an email that matches an existing customer, the job is linked to them rather than creating a duplicate. And a job needs a linked customer before it can move past New — so filling the name in now saves a step later. See Link a customer to a job.
What next
From the job's page you can create a quote, set a work address, or move the status when the work is agreed.
