Job management software for painters and decorators.
Walk the rooms, price them from your own list, and send the quote the same evening. When the last coat's dry, the invoice is a couple of taps off the quote.

The old way vs grafter.ly
The enquiry
The old way
Three people want a price for the hall, stairs and landing, spread across your texts and emails.
With grafter.ly
Forward the email and it's in your job list with the details filled in, and what's still missing listed.
The quote
The old way
You walked every room with a notepad, and the price is still sitting in it.
With grafter.ly
You price it room by room from your own list and send it that evening.
The wait
The old way
You end up texting to ask if they've had a chance to look at it.
With grafter.ly
They accept it online and you see it the moment they do.
The invoice
The old way
The furniture's back in place, and the invoice goes out whenever you next sit down to it.
With grafter.ly
You raise it from the quote in a couple of taps before the van's packed.
Getting paid
The old way
It's an awkward text asking about the transfer they promised last week.
With grafter.ly
With Stripe connected, every invoice carries a card link, and the reminders go out for you.
One screen shows every job you've got booked and every one waiting on an answer.
Every job sits in one list, from the first enquiry through to getting paid. The exteriors you've quoted for spring and the hallway you start on Monday are all there, each with its stage beside it.

- Forward an enquiry email and it becomes a job
- Your invoices sync to Xero
- Your customer accepts the quote online and you see it
- Connect Stripe and every invoice carries a card payment link
- You price the job room by room from your own list
- Payment reminders go out on their own, so you don't have to ask
- Upload an Excel or CSV of your jobs and they're all in
Labour and materials
Room by room, with the paint priced as paint.
Three rooms and a hallway is four decisions about scope, and the difference between a good week and a bad one is usually who was supplying the paint.
- A line per room, with walls, ceilings and woodwork spelled out on the quote.
- Your time priced by the hour or as a fixed fee, separately from the materials.
- Confirm the hours before you invoice, so a job that ran long is billed as it ran.
- Trade counter receipts against the job, and what is left when it is paid.
The quote your customer gets.
They open a link on their phone, see the price laid out properly, and accept it online. There's no app to download and no account to make. You see it the moment they do.

Common questions
- How do enquiry emails become jobs?
- Forward the email to your grafter.ly address and it becomes a job with the customer and work details filled in. You check the details before anything goes to the customer.
- How do I check an enquiry has what I need to quote?
- The job is matched to the kind of work it is and lists what you still need to price it. Tap Ask the customer and the questions go out by email under your business name; they reply straight to you, or answer on a page with photos. If the job usually needs a look first, they can pick a morning or afternoon from your free days.
- Can I quote room by room?
- Yes. Quotes are built line by line, so the hall, the stairs and the landing each sit as their own line with their own price.
- Does my customer need an app to accept a quote?
- No. They open a link on their phone, see the price laid out, and type their name to accept. You see it the moment they do.
- How much does it cost?
- £25 a month after your first 30 days free. No card details to start, no contract, no setup fee. Card payments carry Stripe's fee and we add nothing on top.
- Does it work with Xero?
- Yes. Connect Xero once and every sent invoice copies across with the customer attached. When a payment is recorded in Xero, the invoice here shows paid too.
- Can I bring my existing jobs in?
- Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV, check the preview, and your jobs are in. You don't need to import anything to start, though. One forwarded enquiry is enough.
